Welcome to Kajal Memorial Day School in Belgharia, Kolkata! We are a school for both boys and girs. At KMDS Belgharia, we strive to give the best education to our students. We would like to make sure that our students are prepared for the long run, so we offer multiple classes. We believe that the arts are just as important as other classes, so we have music and drawing classes. In addition, we offer maths, English, social studies, science, and general knowledge. Our teachers ensure that the students learn in a safe and sound environment, in which the students enjoy the learning. We make sure that our students are prepared for the real world by teaching practical skills that are transferrable to their careers and overall well-being!

Parents and Guardians,
Please contact us for any questions that you may have from time to time. The admissions procedure for Lower Nursery, Upper Nursery, and KG, usually starts in the beginning of September. To pick up an admission form, please contact us at the school front office. Tuition fees can also be paid at the front office during office hours. Our office hours are 9 AM to 4 PM on weekdays (Monday through Friday). We can't wait to meet with you!

KMDS Belgharia offers a wide array of classes to our students.
Students take these courses (some of which are periodical): mathematics, sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, environmental science, computer science), social studies (history, geography), general knowledge, English language and literature, second languages (Bengali, Hindi), music, dance, acting/drama, visual arts (drawing, painting), and yoga.
Teachers will help students as needed to fit their level and ensure success. We place focus on both academics and arts to ensure that our students are well-rounded. Various events such as our Arts & Crafts Fair, Annual Function, Annual Picnic, drawing competitions, Sports Day, and national holiday celebrations allow our students to demonstrate what they have learnt and present their creations to the rest of the world.
School Diary: Upon admission, each student will be asked to get a school diary. The school diary is vital towards a school day. The school diary lets the parents and students become informed about the current events in school. The school diary also contains details about KMDS Belgharia's history, vision, mission, and morning prayers. Please make sure that students bring their diary to school each school day.
